PORTMARNOCK
VETERINARY CLINIC

PORTMARNOCK VETERINARY CLINIC

Located on Strand road in Portmarnock Village, Portmarnock Vet Clinic houses Dublin's first integrative veterinary practice. Combining the scientific, conventional approach to diagnosis and treatment with the holistic approach. By integrating these competencies we are able to achieve a great degree of success in treating everything from a broken dew claw to more serious long term conditions such as skin disease, arthritis and even cancer.

The holistic approach involves using natural remedies and acupuncture to encourage the animal to heal itself. It takes into account the pet's lifestyle, diet and individual needs as well as symptoms both physical and mental. Consultations at our clinic are longer than at other veterinary clinics, as we listen to owner's concerns in an open minded manner. We tailor the treatment plan to individual needs and budget and will never allow an animal to suffer or be in pain. There is a huge demand for this unique attitude and we take referrals for second opinions nationwide for people seeking a gentle and natural solution.

The Veterinary Clinic in Portmarnock has been in existence for over 20 years. It was previously owned by holistic practitioner, Jimmy Fox. Emily took over in 2013 and has built it in to what it is today. She and the other vets see patients from all over the country and can work together with the owners' own local vet to develop effective, long term treatment plans.

Our Practice

Our practice is warm and welcoming. Animal welfare is paramount to us. We endeavour to make the animals visit as stress free and as fun as possible with plenty of treats, hugs and cuddles. As many of our treatments are non invasive animals like coming to us. Children are welcome and we host regular puppy parties.

" So patient and kind to my dog Freddie who is scared of going to the vets. Such a calm place to visit, never feel like the consultations are rushed and all of the staff, Emily, Elaine and Gemma are so lovely to deal with. "
